Mahboobeh Attaei has PhD in Chemical Engineering and MSc in Material Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. She dedicated the 5+ years of her scientific endeavor to research in Chemical Engineering, focusing on Microencapsulation and Immobilization Technologies, Electrochemistry, Corrosion, and Novel Coating technologies.
Mahboobeh has over 17 years of experience in quality control, quality management, risk assessment, and the implementation of quality standards. She has also been secretary of the R&D community, aiming to support energy sectors. Her passion for cutting-edge research drew her to C5Lab, where her activities concentrated on developing additives to change the carbonation rate of cement and concrete.
