We are recruiting a doctorate for a scientific research position in Geosciences. In particular, tasks include the development and application of innovative methods for subsurface modelling (geostatistics, spatial data science) able to assimilate subsurface data in real-time. It is expected the development of deep learning methods for geo-modelling. The work will be developed under the Horizon Europe MINOTAUR project, where the main objective is the development of autonomous robots for exploratory drilling in mining contexts. This call is open until January 15th, 2025.

Who?
We are looking for any national and foreign candidate(s) holding a Ph.D. degree in a research area related to CERENA’s main research lines: energy, environment and raw materials. We seek highly motivated researchers with ability for independent and creative research and a strong publication track-recording. Good English skills are essential. We advise to carefully revise the eligibility criteria for both programs. CERENA may give some guidance and help to obtain the required administrative documents to apply for the calls.
