Pedro has a Degree in Geological Engineering (2012) and Master in Geological Resources (2014), both graduations from University of Aveiro. His Master’s thesis titled “Geostatistical inversion of 3D seismic data with local multi-distributions” was developed in CERENA under a joint supervision of Professor Leonardo Azevedo (IST) and Professor Luís Menezes Pinheiro (U. Aveiro). Currently he is a researcher (since February 2015) and he is starting a PhD under supervision of Professor Amílcar Soares. His main scientific research is related with geostatistical seismic inversion for hydrocarbon reservoir modeling and uncertainty assessment.
