Presently, coordinates two QREN projects (2012-2015), in collaboration with two Portuguese companies, related with the valorisation of rice by-products and cork. Co-supervision of 5 master dissertations. Supervision of 1 Master dissertation at IST (2014-2015). Author of 1 UK patent (2012) and 1 PCT patent (2013).
