Yaru Xue is an Associate Professor at the College of Artificial Intelligence, China University of Petroleum (Beijing). She received her Ph.D. in Geophysics in 2009 and was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana‑Champaign. Her research focuses on seismic data processing, inversion and intelligent microseismic monitoring, including Radon‑transform algorithms and deep‑learning‑driven geophysical workflows. She has published peer‑reviewed journal and conference papers and participated in multiple national research projects. At CERENA‑IST, she will carry out collaborative research on advanced seismic processing and intelligent geophysical inversion.
