Matilde Viegas Ferreira obtained her M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in November 2024. Her master’s dissertation focused on the development of a physiologically based pharmacokinetics custom model in gPROMS FormulatedProducts®, at Siemens Digital Industries in London, UK.
In November 2024, she joined the CCU-Tailor project, funded by Fundação Amélia de Mello Entrepreneurship Grant 2024, as a PhD student. CCU-Tailor aims to provide software capable of designing custom-optimized CCU processes, integrating them into existing industrial operations while meeting environmental and financial targets.
