Ana Rita Carvalho obtained her degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in December 2024. Her master's dissertation, entitled "Synthesis and Characterization of New Heteroleptic Molecular Compounds Based on Au(III) Benzoquinoline Moiety," focused on the development of new materials with possible applications in various fields.
In February 2024, she joined the Centre for Natural Resources and the Environment - Technical University of Lisbon (CERENA – IST) as a research fellow student in the BioCFiber project.
