Francesco has a PhD in marine geophysics obtained through the University of Otago (New Zealand). His background is on methane hydrates deposits and gas seepage in the deep sea, studied through seismic and hydro-acoustic methods. Currently approaching a different way of doing science by being part of the Science Communication Office.
