Sofia Moreira Fernandes, whose PhD work focused on the development of solar-light responsive photocatalytic systems for the remediation of pharmaceutical wastewater, was awarded the ISGS Renata Reinsfeld PhD Student Fellowship. This fellowship recognizes outstanding contributions made by women working in Sol-Gel Technology.
