From 31st May to 2nd June, 2026, the 2nd International Symposium on Smart Materials for Energy Efficient Built Environment Control took place in Xian (China). The conference gathered more than 200 researchers to discuss cutting-edge research on smart materials for building energy efficiency, indoor environmental control, and thermal energy storage.
Moisés Pinto, alongside SIMIACCI partners Christian Serre and Tarik Aaboud, presented the project’s results regarding the improvement of air quality in GLAMs (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums). The full news can be read on SIMIACCI’s website.
