On 16th June, 2026, Leonardo Azevedo was awarded a Scientific Prize from ULisboa in the category of Earth Sciences and Geophysics. This prize, funded by Caixa Geral Depósitos, recognizes scientific works of elevated quality and impact, reinforcing the commitment of the University of Lisbon to the production of knowledge.
