Jaime Puna Joins the Port of Sines' New Executive Board

Jaime Puna has joined the new Executive Board of APS - Administração dos Portos de Sines e Algarve, which took office on March 10^th, 2025. His extensive expertise in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Quality and Environmental Engineering, and Chemical Technology will be a valuable resource to the new board. Jaime Puna joins fellow members Fernanda Nunes, lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal expert in logistics, shipping and intermodality, and Pedro do Ó Ramos, former Secretary of State for the Sea and Member of Parliament, in this new executive team.

Currently, Jaime Puna is a professor at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa and a researcher at CERENA. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and has industry experience as a Production Manager at Triquímica, along with a background in leading R&D projects in Bioenergy.
