From 13 to 17th July 2026, the Department of Mineral and Energy Resources (DER) Summer School took place at Instituto Superior Técnico.
This year, the focus was on Well-Logging and Formation Evaluation, an intensive program dedicated to the characterization of reservoirs. Aimed at master’s and PhD students, as well as early-career researchers, the program offered a technical approach specialized in a critical field of the energy industry: the acquisition and interpretation of well-logging data and the evaluation of geological formations in an exploration context.
