Last month (20th-21st November), CERENA's researchers (Amir Afzali, Jakub Skiba, Waqar Ahmad, João Narciso, Helga Jordão and Ana Margarida de Sousa) taking part in the CRITERIA project met with the project's partners in Barcelona. It was great to exchange ideas with the different colleagues. We look forward to meet again in Porto in April.
CRITERIA Project aims to develop solutions from a technical and environmental point of view for the characterization and cultivation of tailing dams and waste dumps enhancing the recovery of Critical Raw Materials and Rare Earth Elements. This project is a collaboration between Universita Della Calabria (Unical), Italy; Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Portugal; Kungliga Tekniska Hoegskolan (KTH), Sweden; Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain and Minerali Industriali SRL (MININD), Italy.
