CERENA will host the 12th International Geostatistics Congress

CERENA will host the 12^th International Geostatistics 2024 congress. The conference will be held in Azores in the first week of September 2024 and will be chaired by Leonardo Azevedo, Amílcar Soares and Maria João Pereira.

The International Geostatistics congress had its first event in 1975 and it’s the most important event and congress for the Geostatistical community. In the recent decades, the congress every fourth year. The 12th edition will happen in Portugal after a successful bid in the 11^th International Geostatistics Congress that ran entirely virtual from Toronto.
