CERENA researchers participate in scientific conferences

During the month of October, CERENA researchers participated in different scientific conferences. Between the 7th and 9th of October, the 4th International Conference on Nitric Oxide Therapeutics in Cancer and Other Diseases took place at Fundação Cidade Lisboa, in Lisboa. The conference, supported by CERENA and Portuguese Chemical Society, and promoted by ISNOC (International Society for Nitric Oxide and Cancer) counted with Rosana Pinto and Moisés Pinto in the organization. This was an excellent forum to debate the recent advancements in nitric oxide biology and its therapeutic potential.

Leonardo Azevedo participated in the 4th EAGE Conference in Seismic Inversion, a conference that took place in Lisbon and also counted with CERENA's support. During this time, Leonardo presented his work on Rock-Physics-Informed Diffusion Model for Direct Joint Seismic Inversion.

Maria Paula Mendes participated in CONGREGA/WCEAM 2026, which took place in Braga, and presented Nature-Based Heat Adaptation in Mediterranean Cities, a study co-authored with Inês Flores-Colen (CERIS).
