CERENA’s researchers José Manuel Marques, Orquídia Neves and Paula Carreira, alongside researchers from C2TN, researchers from the Telecommunications Institute (IT) of Instituto Superior Técnico, and researchers from the Military Academy/CINAMIL, are part of the team of a new research project to be developed in the Military Camp of Santa Margarida.
The project, GREEN-RANGE CMSM, consolidates the relationship between the researchers, who came together for the third time to develop an intelligent platform for environmental monitoring, mitigation of impact, and sustainable energetic management of autonomous systems. The project is funded by the Portuguese Army General Staff and had its first meeting on July 23rd at the Military Academy, in Lisbon.
The project aims to promote the operational compatibility of the Army, environmental sustainability, and a more efficient management of the structures of Santa Margarida Military Camp.
