CERENA-FEUP researchers, professors and students participated in the Fórum Nacional Clubes Ciência Viva na Escola 2025, held at the Alfândega do Porto on April 4th and 5th.
Over the course of two days, CERENA’s stand was visited by students, educators, families, and science enthusiasts from Portugal and abroad. The interactive educational game designed to reveal the connection between minerals and everyday objects kept visitors entertained and sparked curiosity about the role of natural resources in our society. Among the many visitors were students from the Díli Portuguese School, who will bring this experience and a bit of CERENA back to Timor-Leste.
The Fórum Nacional Clubes Ciência Viva na Escola is an annual event promoted by Ciência Viva – National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture. It brings together school science clubs from across Portugal and serves as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices, where students, teachers, and scientists showcase projects, strengthen collaboration, and promote dialogue between science and society.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Fórum’s organization, which is essential in the preparation of science communication materials. CERENA remains committed to promoting science literacy and encouraging curiosity through accessible and engaging educational approaches.
