CERENA's junior researcher, Rosana Pinto will give a talk open to the community about Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for Healthcare and Environmental Challenges.
Rosana's scientific interests include, among others, the design and synthesis of MOFs; drug delivery systems addressing the challenge of controlled release and the MOF-based composites for health and environmental applications. Rosana's multidisciplinary background, starting with a Biomedical Engineering bachelor's degree and finishing with a Chemistry PhD, gave her the knowledge for this groundbreaking research, which she will better explain in this talk.
