In the April Seminar of the 2026-2027 CERENA Seminar series, we will receive Maria Isabel Soares.

The main purpose of this seminar is to integrate and discuss the economic, financial, and fiscal perspectives on the technological rationale of the new EU electricity design. We start by analysing the main causes of this new model, from the technological point of view to the economic and geopolitical constraints. Then, we introduce the different kinds of risk in the field. Finally, we discuss the political/market/regulatory new tools used to attain the new goals, and how to deal with the uncertainty in decision-making.
