CERENA-FEUP at MostraUP 2025

CERENA - Centro de Recursos Naturais e Ambiente is pleased to announce its participation in this year’s MostraUP event. The showcase will take place from March 6th to 9th at the Pavilhão Multiuso do Gondomar in Porto.

At the event, CERENA’s team of scientists will highlight the role of innovation in mining engineering and its critical applications in robot manufacturing. They will present the full mineral chain—from ore extraction to land remediation and mineral refining—emphasizing its importance in the production of everyday objects.

The MostraUP is an annual event that brings together the research, innovation, and academic activities of the University of Porto. It offers an excellent opportunity to engage with experts across a wide range of disciplines, including science, technology, arts, and social sciences. Visitors will have the chance to explore the latest innovations and research being conducted at one of Portugal’s leading academic institutions.
